Abstract
The goal of this study is to investigate into and provide a clear observational study on the effects of the chromolaena odorata (hagunoy) in treating wounds. The leaves of Chromolaena odorata are then gathered and crushed to obtain the extracts. Only the extract was applied to all four respondents of various ages and genders during the first week of treatment, and the crushed leaves were applied during the second week of treatment, and the observations were tabulated. Chromolaena Dorata is a traditional medicinal herb with a long history of use. This herb has been used to treat wounds, burns, and skin infections. Since the Philippines is a tropical country, chromolaena odorata and other tropical plants thrive there. This plant is most typically found in rural areas of the country, particularly in mountainous areas where residents have difficulty accessing health care due to the terrain. Thus, the researchers decided to conduct a study to examine its healing properties.
