EFFECT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON ORGANIZATIONAL INNOVATION AND MODERATING ROLE OF ORGANIZATIONAL EMPOWERMENT CULTURE DIMENSION: SUPERVISOR ENCOURAGEMENT

Abstract
In today world, of the most challenging aspects of management is how managers, leaders, supervisors encourage followers to achieve organizational goals in high performance. The purpose of this paper to examine the moderating role of organizational empowerment culture from its dimension named supervisor encouragement in the relationship between transformational leadership dimensions and organizational innovation. The study also examined the impact of transformational leadership dimensions on organizational innovation. Results shows that transformational leadership behaviors are an important determinant of organizational innovation. A purposive sample of 275 employees participated in the study. Regression analysis demonstrated that organizational supervisor encouragement dimension was not significant. In more details, the regression analysis of II and SE, demonstrate that the potential to influence is a function of multiple influencing factors, and more specifically, whether idealized influence moderate the relationship between a transformational leadership (TFL) and organizational innovation (OI). Therefore, managers, supervisor, leaders should embrace high compliance with organizational values and encourage employees to exert their highest efforts toward positive organizational outcomes by modeling the way. The results of this study are particularly significant for managers, supervisors, and company executives who want to or already operate in developing economies
