CREATION OF A SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN EASTERN GALICIA (1867–1914)

The article is devoted to the analysis of the policy of the Austrian government in the field of higher education in Eastern Galicia in 1867–1914 and the determination of issues that require in-depth research, taking into account: – policies of the Austrian government in the field of higher education in Galicia; – the need for a comprehensive analysis and scientific generalization of the historical experience of the governments of AustriaHungary regarding the reform of higher education in the studied region; – critical understanding of the lessons of the past; – initiation of the development of an insufficiently studied topic, Identification, systematization of sources, identification of the main patterns and results of Austro-Hungarian politics in Eastern Galicia.
