TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LEGALIZATION OF THE USE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY IN UKRAINE BASED ON THE EXPERIENCE OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES

The article is devoted to trends in the development of the legalization of the use of cryptocurrency in Ukraine. The cryptocurrency market in Ukraine, as well as around the world, is developing at a rapid pace, but the uncertainty of the legal status of cryptocurrency, the uncertainty of laws and regulations regarding the rules of the market's functioning creates significant risks for its participants. The theoretical aspects and the history of the emergence of cryptocurrency as the currency of the future financial system are considered. The legal status of cryptocurrencies in different countries of the world and the prospects for their use are analyzed. The legal regulation of cryptocurrency in Ukraine in accordance with the norms of Ukrainian legislation is considered.
