Diachronic-dialectological research of interjection morphemes in the Azerbaijani (On the basis of the Diwan Lughat al-Turk by Mahmud Kashgari)

The Diwan Lughat al-Turk by Mahmud Kashgari has an important role in correct settlement of historical issues of Azerbaijani. Study of historical morphology as well as other issues in different levels on the basis of materials of this record is significant for modern research works. Study of historical development of interjections in Azerbaijani can pave the way for interesting conclusions. Notably, Mahmud Kashgari included interjections in his famous Diwan vocabulary. Interjections contain emotional, imperative, vocative and other substance in terms of semantic aspect. Study of interjections mainly includes linguistics facts belonging to expression of feelings and emotions, while some types stay in general in the structure of other parts of speech. A part of such words gathered under the name of interjections are currently studied as vocatives. The same approach can be displayed in regard to imperative interjections. In the article, attention has been paid to more intensive interjections in literary Azerbaijani and its accents. Study of interjection morphemes is implemented on the basis of their morphonological explanation. Facts enable us to achieve etymological conclusions of interjection morphemes and reveal the ability of lexicalization of such morphemes.
