PROPOSTA DE ABORDAGEM PARA SELEÇÃO DE EQUIPAMENTOS DE PROTEÇÃO INDIVIDUAL ADEQUADOS À UTILIZAÇÃO DE FERRAMENTAS PORTÁTEIS MOTORIZADAS

As atividades laborais com Ferramentas Portáteis Motorizadas (FPM) compreendem riscos inerentes, que podem gerar acidentes e provocar danos à saúde do trabalhador. Desta forma, observa-se a necessidade de utilização de equipamentos de proteção individual (EPI) específicos. Há, contudo, dificuldades de adesão ao uso de proteções por parte dos usuários, devido à falta deinformação e ações em conjunto das partes interessadas. O objetivo deste trabalho foi elaborar e propor uma abordagem para selecionar e indicar EPIpertinentes à utilização de motosserras e roçadeiras. Para tanto, realizaram-se entrevistas individuais com as partes interessadas e seelaboraram módulos ou kits de EPIpara determinada família de máquinas, considerando a opinião destakeholders. Os principais resultados indicaram a existência de pequenas discrepâncias nos fatoresde conforto e certificado de aprovação entre as partes interessadas, no que tange a avaliação eseleção de determinados EPI.ABSTRACTWork activities with Motorized Portable Tools (MPT) include inherent risks, which can leadto accidents and cause harm to the worker's health. Therefore, it is necessary to use specific personalprotective equipment (PPE). There are, however, difficulties in adhering to the use of protections bythe users, due to the lack of information and joint actions of the interested parties. The papers' objective was to elaborate and to propose an approach to select and indicate PPE pertinent to the use of chainsaws and brush cutters. Therefore, individual interviews with stakeholders were carried out and PPE modules or kits were elaborated for a machine family, considering the opinion of stakeholders. The main results indicated the existence of small discrepancies in the comfort factors and certificate of approval among the interested parties, regarding the evaluation and selection of certain PPE.
