Abstract
Anthropometry is the science that studies the dimensions of the human body, the knowledge and techniques to carry out measurements, as well as their statistical treatment. In Ecuador, the study and capture of anthropometric measurements of the elderly population has been very scarce since there are no technological instruments that must obtain measurements, and statistics to be able to establish a database of the Ecuadorian population. Taking this background, the purpose of this article is to present a new device option for capturing anthropometric dimensions specifically of the foot.
