Abstract
The article identifies the main problems in the development of the vocational education system of the DPR. It is substantiated that the solution of the identified problems lies in the sphere of incorporation of a practice-oriented approach to training specialists through the introduction of a dual form of vocational education. The prerequisites for incorporating a practice-oriented approach into the system of vocational education in the DPR have been determined.
