Abstract

In the research process, the information approach was applied as a fundamental methodology in order to substantiate the informational and cognitive relationship of the research paradigm to establish the interdependence of the use of innovations with the development of the logistics component of the enterprise; the method of terminological analysis was used to clarify the definition of the concepts «innovation» and «innovative logistics»; the classification of logistics innovations is included, among which the types of technological innovations are separately investigated. This article presents the scientific conviction and summarizes the opinions of foreign and Ukrainian authors regarding the need to use innovative logistics solutions in the progressive development of the enterprise. It is substantiated through classification features by type of business processes that technological innovations in logistics include data collection technologies, information technologies, warehousing technologies and transport technologies. In particular, the work established those technological innovations are becoming more and more important for the implementation of the latest solutions in logistics. Examples of technological tools for their use are given, namely: data collection technologies — bar codes, radio frequency identification system (RFID), artificial intelligence, big data analytics (Big Data Analytics); information technologies — electronic data exchange (EDI), electronic order system (EOS), corporate information systems of personnel management and interaction with customers (CRM systems); warehousing technologies — warehouse management system (WMS system); transport technologies — global geographic information system (GIS), geolocation technology (GPS), radio frequency communication system and transport data recorder, crowdsourced mass delivery technology («last mile» logistics using drones, electric cars, drones) and other innovative technologies, used in logistics.
