Abstract
This publication provides statistical data on fires in Ukraine and the relevance of the use of fire extinguishing agents in residential areas. A comparative analysis of the technical characteristics of extinguishing agents used in the leading countries of the world and Ukraine is given. It is noted that the use of a combined extinguishing method makes it possible to reduce the temperature impact on a person on the main evacuation routes.
