Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of psychological influences on the activities of military personnel in the conditions of modern war. The behavior of military personnel during extreme events, the causes and mechanisms of fear and stress, conditions that have components that affect the body and mind (cognitive functions) and emotions are analyzed. The main methods of their consideration and elimination have been studied. A method of combating traumatic experience with adaptation to the real environment on the battlefield, on rest and in the rear, on rehabilitation and treatment is also proposed. It is shown that modern combat experience establishes the laws of combat, which depend on the course and results of combat training, military skill, morale and psychological state, discipline of personnel, number of troops (forces), equipment of weapons and military equipment, level of training of commanders, etc. In addition to operational (combat) training, technical, rear, logistical and medical training is very important. It is shown that the activity of small combat groups, as one of the main groups of modern warfare, is currently rather poorly studied due to the complexity of social and psychological mechanisms and group dynamics. The methods and mechanisms of combating stress factors, the role of commanders, psychologists and volunteers, as well as the most experienced military personnel in these processes are shown. An expert assessment of service-combat actions of servicemen in normal and extreme actions is analyzed. 4 components of dynamics features are formed: moral and communicative, which has the greatest informativeness; motivational and strong-willed, almost as powerful as the first; value-semantic, its content is determined by correlation with indicators of fearlessness, social responsibility, involvement in events, cheerfulness; internal comfort, which correlates with such indicators as lack of threat, safety and security.
