Municipal district: problems and prospects of the organization of local self-government

The necessity of carrying out the reform of the territorial organization of local self-government, including the introduction of such a municipality as a municipal district, is analyzed. As a result, the advantages of a new approach to the territorial organization of local self-government are formulated, the main problems that have arisen at the present time are identified, and ways to solve them are proposed.
