Cognitive sphere of the personality of drug-addicted convicts as penitentiary theory and practice

One of the main goals of the Concept of the Development of the Penal Enforcement System in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 is the improvement of the probation system in order to increase the level of adaptation potential of convicts and the effectiveness of the processes of resocialization and social adaptation of convicts after their release. In this regard, working with persons serving a criminal sentence with or without deprivation of liberty to identify the safety of the cognitive sphere provides a more subtle and in-depth approach to identifying the possibility of its effective use and increasing the level of processes of re-socialization and social adaptation. Thus, the work that is associated with the study of the features of the cognitive sphere of drug-addicted convicts and with the provision of psychological assistance to them will allow them to give new knowledge, skills and abilities so that they can independently engage in self-education as one of the spheres of life organization that will have the potential.
