Abstract
The use of ICT in agricultural practises, including the interconnection of machinery, equipment, and sensors in a network-based system for sophisticated farm monitoring and management, is known as smart farming. It is a progressive development. The Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing, which are predicted to spur growth and open the door for the incorporation of robots and artificial intelligence in farming operations, are just two examples of cutting-edge technologies that are being used in this revolutionary approach. In the context of IoT technology within the agricultural system, this article gives an in-depth analysis and evaluation of sensor technology and the integration of wireless networks. The paper considers the current situation and suggests a combined strategy that uses wireless and internet communications and will result in the creation of a Remote Monitoring System (RMS). This system's main objective is to collect real-time data on the environment for agricultural production, making it possible for agricultural facilities to easily access information. It enables a number of capabilities, including SMS alert sending, guidance on weather patterns, crop production, and other things.
