Abstract

In the proposed study, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) will be used to overcome the frequency-selectivity of the channels to use the filter bank (FB) approach to attain great spectral efficiency. Subcarriers are separated into subgroups in the LACO-OFDM transmitter to create several levels. A new multicarrier and unique word OFDM technology is integrated in the proposed work to produce higher performance with lower error rates. Instead of using UW-OFDM, which performs better than CP-OFDM, people often employ CP cyclic prefix OFDM. The Matlab R2015b is used to conduct the simulation. The main goal of the research is to implement FB-UW-OFDM in order to maximise bandwidth efficiency while achieving excellent spectral efficiency.
