Abstract

This study describes a turbo receiver that can effectively identify signals that have been degraded by both inter-carrier interference (ICI) and inter-antenna interference (IAI) by employing the suggested ICI-aware Dual-List (IDL) MIMO detection approach. In orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) mobile systems with multiple inputs and multiple outputs (MIMO), these two interferences frequently coexist. The infamous error propagation problem observed in traditional interference mitigation/cancellation techniques is avoided by the IDL detector, which improves ICI mitigation. Additionally, this study suggests three methods to lower the needed computational complexity by 67.25% for comparison operations, 99.63% for complex additions, and 99.69% for complex multiplications. The theoretical upper bound is supported by simulation findings, which also demonstrate that the receiver's bit error rate performance in high mobility channels is on par with a maximumlikelihood MIMO-OFDM receiver's performance in stationary channels, or the ICIfree case.
