Abstract
In order to facilitate multilingual communication across various cultures and languages, machine translation and language generation are essential. These tools are designed to aid in successful communication and mutual understanding among various linguistic communities by automatically translating text or creating new material in the target language. The significance, difficulties, and developments of machine translation and language production for multilingual communication are covered in this study. We examine current methods and strategies used in these fields, including statistical and neural machine translation, attention processes, and subword units. In addition, we provide a block diagram that highlights the crucial steps in the workflow of machine translation and language production. This survey of the literature intends to advance knowledge of cutting-edge techniques and strategies utilised in language generation and machine translation for multilingual communication, laying the groundwork for future investigation and advancement in this quickly developing topic
