Abstract

Educating people to be more gender sensitive involves working to alter attitudes and behaviors toward the sexes as a whole. It encourages contemplation of one's own worldview and the validity of one's assumptions about the world. The terms "sex" and "gender" are not interchangeable. Gender, in contrast to sex, which is a biological term, is a social construction made up of the expected and sanctioned behaviors of men and women in society. Law enforcement authorities around the world now prioritize ending violence against women. It's incomprehensible the extent to which women are subjected to violence around the world. The police should pay extra attention to cases of rape and sexual assault since victims typically turn to them only after they have tried everything else. Women continue to confront injustice and inequality in our culture even after birth. Authorities, non-governmental organizations, and the United Nations have all been working hard to end violence against women. Officers need to treat her with compassion. The police have a reputation for treating victims of sexual assault and domestic violence with insensitivity. Gender awareness training will be provided to police officers. The purpose of this training is to educate the trainees on gender issues and inspire them to approach problems and complaints from a gender-sensitive vantage point. This report emphasizes the value of gender awareness training for law enforcement.
