Abstract
The opportunity of introducing modern approaches to inventory management of material resources based on mathematical methods is considered. Practical recommendations on using methods of interval analysis for determination the optimum characteristics of inventory management of raw materials are theoretically grounded and proposed under conditions of incomplete information about the demand at a production plant.
