Abstract

The article discusses the role of experimental psychology in applied developments for a new direction of marketing, mainly on the impact on the channels of sensory perception of the target audience. The author analyzes the contribution of psychologists C. Spence, C. Wisochi, A.R. Hirsch. The article highlights the differences in approaches in the countries of Western and Eastern Europe in the use of sensory marketing tools based on the developments of experimental psychology. The author also presents the results of his own research on the topic under consideration.
