Abstract
An aggregate demand structure in Ukraine and its recent changes are dealt with. The comparison of the share of final consumption expenditure and gross capital formations in an active demand in several European countries is carried out. The conclusion is grounded that the share of consumption expenditure of households is too overestimated and the share of gross capital formations in the active demand is underestimated in Ukraine, which leads to conservation of economic backwardness of Ukraine.
