Abstract

In this article, labor legislation in the sphere of judicial protection of workers' rights and legitimate interests is analyzed in the context of European integration, and ways for its improvement are identified. It emphasizes that Ukraine's trajectory towards integration with the European Union necessitates the alignment of national legislation with European standards, including labor law. This strategic direction sets the course of action and priorities that Ukraine must consider in its domestic and foreign policy, particularly in reforms aimed at strengthening democracy, respecting human rights, and establishing the rule of law. The article notes that Ukraine's integration into the EU requires the state to ensure compliance with European standards, including in the field of labor law. This involves amending national legislation and implementing specific measures to increase the level of workers' rights protection. The research demonstrates that the harmonization of Ukraine's labor legislation with EU standards is a complex and multi-stage process that requires thorough analysis and comparison of the legislation of EU member states in order to utilize their positive experiences. This process is crucial for ensuring Ukraine's competitiveness in European and global labor markets, improving working conditions, and protecting workers' rights. Based on the analysis, a conclusion is made that aligning labor law norms with European standards will improve the social welfare of workers, providing them with fair wages, decent working conditions, social guarantees, protection from discrimination, as well as judicial protection at a level consistent with international standards.
