POST-MAYDAN MOVEMENT AND SOCIAL TRANSFORMATIONS

The post-Maidan movement and social transformations were investigated in this article. It was established that after the events on Independence Square in 2014, significant changes took place in Ukraine. In particular, reforming the power system, changing the political culture, activating civil society. One of the main changes that resulted from the post-Maidan movement was the reform of the government system. The constitution was changed, which made it possible to reduce the role of the president and increase the role of the parliament and the government. The author found that the most important achievement of the revolutionary winter is the self-identity and unity of the Ukrainian nation, which indicates deep and radical changes in Ukrainian society.
