USING WIKI-TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Introduction. The use of information and communication technologies expands the framework of the educational process and increases its practical orientation. One of the most convenient and effective services of information and communication technologies is wiki-technology. Wiki-technology is an instrument for the rapid creation and editing of collective hypertext. Wiki-technology supports links between quick pages to intuitively link to other pages and display what pages contain data. Wiki-technology aims to engage visitors in a continuous process of creation and collaboration that constantly changes the appearance of the site. Purpose. The article aims to analyse the peculiarities of the use of wiki-technologies in the professional training of future teachers of preschool education institutions. Methods. Analysis, synthesis, comparison, abstraction, modelling, survey, content analysis, testing, specially developed questionnaires, individual and complex conversations with students, teachers, educators, directors (managers) and methodologists of preschool institutions. Results. The authors characterize the peculiarities of using wiki technology as a component of distance education. It was found that wiki-technologies provide an opportunity to use wiki-systems in the development of interaction «teacher – computer – student – student group – student community», during which the student affects the content of the researched information object, independently receives information that becomes the basis for theoretical conclusions. Wiki-technology provides an opportunity for quite long independent work that does not require the constant intervention of the teacher. The use of wiki-technologies enables the creation of collective works and projects, multiple editing and changes, and the possibility of sharing and distributing information. Each of the possibilities of wiki-technologies is aimed at the interaction of participants who develop wiki pages. The essence of the concept of «wiki-technology» was defined, and Ukrainian-language wiki-services were studied. The advantages of using wiki-technology are determined, and the peculiarities of the implementation of wiki-technology in the educational process of higher education institutions are considered. The peculiarities of the application of wiki-technologies in the professional formation of future teachers of preschool education institutions are outlined. The main difficulties and problems of using wiki-technologies in the process of professional training in a higher education institution have been identified. Originality. The experience of using wiki-technologies in the professional training of future teachers of preschool education institutions has shown that the use of wiki-technologies as an environment for joint activities in itself does not lead to the fact that students know how to work together and pay attention to the activities of other students. The experience of their previous educational activities prevented them from using other people's work and creating materials that would be useful to others. Conclusion. The material of the article allows us to conclude that the main advantage of wiki-projects is that the quality of the content is controlled by the virtual community. Using wiki-technology, you can share large amounts of information online, and use a website built with wiki technology to collect and quickly share ideas. After someone creates a wiki-page, other team members can add different types of information, edit content, or add supporting links. A community of authors helps ensure content is accurate and up-to-date. Wiki-projects develop depending on the processes of adding and changing the information on pages by users.
