Abstract

Introduction. The article substantiates the importance and shows the necessity of humanizing professional training in a higher education institution. The HEI realizes the rights of students through the proposed alternatives in crucial areas of education and training, so the positions that provide access to organizational work in the realization of a humanistic approach to student education were outlined. Purpose. The article aims to substantiate the importance and show the necessity of humanizing professional training in a higher education institution. Methods. Analysis of psychological, pedagogical, and methodical literature on the topic in question, synthesis, comparison, induction and deduction, and analogy were used. Results. The learning process of each discipline builds on a fundamentally new goal, which includes: the desire of the student to master the subject thoroughly and fundamentally; the systematic use of the subjective experience of the student in learning activities; and the functioning of involuntary memory in the process of studying educational, scientific, and popular literature. This technology creates an entirely new kind of relationship between teachers and students, unthinkable in the lecture and seminar system of education. These relationships feature humanism and a focus on the personality of the student. The idea of humane interaction between a teacher and a student builds on the basic principles of cooperative pedagogy and a dialogic strategy, recognizing fullness, subjectivity, and equality of participants in the interaction. Individual intelligence has always been considered the methodological basis for forming humane traits. The article proves that the humanization of education is a socio- pedagogical phenomenon that reflects modern social trends in the construction and functioning of the education system. Originality. Humanization of education is a factor in the harmonious development of the student's personality, enrichment of his creative potential, and growth of physical and spiritual capacities. The psychological basis of the humanization of education is a process aimed at developing the individual as a subject of creative activity. Conclusion. Achievement of this goal requires the implementation of some tasks, as revealed in the article. Since humanism is the embodiment of humanity in all the various manifestations of human behavior, the component side of the foundations of the humanization of education is distinguished – humane relations and communication, recognition of the interests and needs of another person, constant attention to a person, compassion and empathy, timely and selfless help, mercy, kindness.
