Introduction. Technological education is aimed at developing a culture of attitude to technology and technological transformations of the environment, based on optimizing the use and conservation of resources. An important aspect is the interaction between man and machines, equipment, and energy devices. Quality management systems using computer systems and technologies (social media, network-type information technologies, etc., cloud technologies, mobile communication, etc.) have been widely used. One of the innovative aspects of technological education is the opportunity to use high technologies (for example, automated design systems, automated data collection systems, etc.) in the process of learning and mastering various disciplines, mainly technical. At the same time, the most advanced technologies and equipment that ensure their operation are studied. Purpose. Consider the innovative aspect of the use of information and communication technologies in the field of technological education. The article aims to analyse the main directions of research on determining the structure and determinants of information and communication technologies in accordance with the specifics of pedagogical activity. Methods. In order to achieve effective teaching, teachers use modern technologies and innovative teaching methods. These methods include active and interactive forms that are directly used by all participants of the educational process. Thanks to interactive methods, effective assimilation of knowledge takes place. These methods belong to collective forms of learning, during which the whole group works on the material being studied, while each participant is responsible for the work done. Results. Thus, a modern educational institution in the technological world has at its disposal the widest arsenal of pedagogical innovative technologies in the learning process. The effectiveness of their application depends on the available information and innovative technologies, the material and technical base of the institution and the ability of the scientific and pedagogical team to perceive these innovations. Originality. The emergence of new information technologies associated with the development of computer tools and telecommunications networks made it possible to create a qualitatively new information and educational environment as a basis for the development and improvement of the education system. Ways of innovative learning on this basis – modular learning, problem-based learning, distance learning, methodical learning, project method, social partnership, etc. An innovative approach to learning allows you to organize the learning process in such a way that the lesson is beneficial without turning into just a game. And, perhaps, precisely at such a lesson, as Cicero said, «the eyes of the one who listens will light up...». Conclusion. The main direction of the state in the field of education is the professional development and improvement of the qualifications of teachers and lecturers of educational organizations and compliance with certain norms and standards. The pursued goal is the modernization of the higher education system. This is, first of all, the introduction of information technologies into the education system, aimed at the maximum satisfaction of the educational needs of young people in the widest range of specialities, levels of education, educational institutions and information and educational resources. It is the educational institutions today that are focused on the wide application of information technologies in the educational process, which contributes to the efficiency and quality of education. Knowledge of information technology is the key to success in employment, as most companies consider this aspect essential.
