Analysing the works of Ukrainian and European scientists, the article analyses the works related to preparation for entrepreneurship in the framework of vocational education and training in the European educational and scientific space. Also, the laws in Ukraine and Europe related to financing and methodology of preparation for entrepreneurship in the framework of vocational education and training were analysed. Results. The experience of vocational education and training systems in the EU is valuable for reforming national vocational education and training systems, including the management of vocational education with the involvement of social partners, the creation of new vocational education and training institutions, the introduction of new qualifications, professional and educational standards, vocational education programs, and the development of a regulatory framework for dual vocational training for students and adults.
