Valmikiramayana- A Homodiegetic Narrative

Valmikiramaya a is a literary work with refined poetic art to illustrate how human minds develop. The characters, including the narrator, in this epic poem are revealed in their evocative dimension. As the story starts in the middle of events, it highlights what happened before the poems opening. Through the analysis of its narrative structure the goal is to identify Valmiki as the author, the character and the listener in his presentation.
