Abstract

The article is devoted to consideration of the importance of customs policy in the context of integration transformations. Customs policy has a significant impact on foreign trade, export and import of goods, as well as on the country's budget revenues. The study examines the impact of integration processes on the country's customs policy and the role of customs authorities in enforcing customs regulations and requirements related to integration agreements. In the context of integration transformations, such as joining regional blocs and concluding international free trade agreements, customs policy is even more important. The article describes various aspects of customs policy that are important in the context of integration transformations, in particular, ensuring effective customs control at the border, simplifying customs clearance of goods, reducing customs barriers and reducing customs rates on goods imported from member countries of the regional bloc or from countries, with which free trade agreements have been concluded. Such measures reduce the costs of enterprises for customs payments and increase the volume of trade between countries. The article also states that the implementation of customs policy in the context of integration transformations requires compliance with standards and requirements related to customs control at the border in regional blocs. Special attention is paid to the implementation of customs policy in the context of the conclusion and implementation of international trade agreements, in particular free trade agreements. The study analyzes the role of customs authorities in fulfilling the obligations established by the agreements and the problems they face in the implementation of customs policy. In addition, customs policy should be aimed at protecting national interests and ensuring the safety of goods and services imported into the country. The purpose of the study is to identify the main aspects of the implementation of customs policy in the context of integration transformations.
