The Skill of Speaking and Listening among the Major Messengers (PBUT) in the Holy Qur’an and Its Educational Implications

The study aims to demonstrate the skill of speaking and listening among the major messengers (May blessings and peace be upon them) in the Holy Qur'an, and to clarify its educational implications. To achieve this, the researchers adopted the fundamentalist approach by presenting the skill of speaking and listening of the major messengers in the light of the Holy Qur'an, and the deductive analytical approach to explain the educational aspect. The study resulted in several conclusions, the most important of which are: One of the most prominent manifestations of activating the skill of speaking and listening among the major messengers, peace be upon them, in the Holy Qur'an is their dealings with their people and their call to Allah's monotheism, softness and mercy, good reasoning, simplicity, addressing people according to their minds, the use of speaking skill in calling and reminding of the Lordship of Allah Almighty and His Divinity, the use of speaking skill to seek knowledge and address the teacher, the divine command to listen to the revelation and listen to him, compassion for the people and give advise when speaking with them, the use of encouragement and intimidation in speaking and addressing, the use of speaking skill to protect the believers and generations of being mislead or others. In light of this, the study recommends conducting scientific studies in which the Islamic educational visions are presented for the work of educational institutions (family, mosque, school, media, clubs, centers, etc.) in presenting practical procedures to activate speaking and listening skills among the messengers, peace be upon them.
