Interactive methods as a development factor of Soft skills of future doctors

Abstract
The article deals with the study results of the problem devoted to the soft skills development of future doctors using interactive methods in classes on the discipline «English language for professional purposes». The views of researchers regarding the essence of soft skills of future specialists are presented. They are characterized as individual, communicative, managerial qualities of a person that contribute to personal and professional development, and effective social interaction and are significant in the process of employment, and performance of professional activities of specialists. The classification of soft skills of future doctors includes the ability to cooperate in a team, critical thinking, leadership qualities, adaptive abilities, stress resistance, creativity in solving complex tasks, and flexibility. The main approaches of scientists to the development of soft skills of future specialists include the participation of students in olympiads, competitions, conferences, training, the use of interactive teaching methods, the method of modeling professional communicative situations, the use of a combination of forms of educational activities organization, a combination of speech activities types for foreign language classes are presented. The concept of «interactive learning methods» as ways of interpersonal diverse interaction in the process of realizing the lesson's goal has been specified. Brainstorming, circle of ideas, microphone, prediction method, discussion, clustering, business game, heuristic conversation, discussion, «round table» method, role play, case method, exercise method, project method, carousel, aquarium, microphone, and others are distinguished among the main types of interactive learning methods. Examples of the realization of interactive learning methods (work in pairs, groups, case method, role play) in the students' classes of the «Dentistry» specialty on the discipline «English for professional purposes» are demonstrated. Arguments regarding the influence of interactive teaching methods on the development of soft skills of future doctors are presented.
