The place and role of problem solving in the educational process

When solving a problem, expressions, laws, numerical values of quantities are remembered, and the physical quantities and units by which they are measured are consolidated in the human mind. Problem solving isn't only useful in learning the basic material but it also plays an important role in deepening, expanding and strengthening mental knowledge. From this point of view problem solving is an integral part of teaching physics in secondary and high school and has both educational and practical importance in the teaching process.
