Abstract

The national strategy for the development of education in Ukraine for the period until 2021 is a guidepost for reform and improvement in the organization of educational activities in classical universities. In order to provide qualified specialists in the chemical technology of science, industry, and production, the natural, mathematical and professional training of applicants is important, among which a number of chemical disciplines occupy a central place. This article is devoted to the theoretical and methodical principles of teaching analytical chemistry of technologist chemists in classical universities. In order to consider the role and importance of the academic discipline of analytical chemistry in the training of chemists-technologists in classical universities, it is necessary to first find out what the science itself is – analytical chemistry. It is not just one of the most important chemical fundamental sciences, but a science that has enormous practical importance for the life of society, it creates means for chemical analysis and ensures its implementation. Without advanced chemical analysis, the functioning of the leading branches of the economy, nature use and spheres related to human life is impossible. The purpose of analytical chemistry as an educational discipline for training a modern chemist-technologist is to form the theoretical and practical level of knowledge necessary for mastering special subjects where chemical analysis of natural and artificial objects is used; understanding of the quantitative and qualitative composition of substances and materials as a basis for thorough creative thinking, which leads to the solution of the latest problems of chemical science. It was shown how the elements of learning technology are implemented in the study of analytical chemistry. Analytical chemistry is a science that, in addition to the theoretical, has a highly developed practical aspect. The practical aspect of studying analytical chemistry is not only educational, but also industrial in nature. The process of teaching analytical chemistry depends on the teacher's skill in organizing the educational process and on his capabilities and desire to keep up with the rapid challenges of scientific and technological progress. The quality of teaching also largely depends on the available material and technical resources, namely, modern devices. At a constant level of teaching, the learning process depends on the level of natural and mathematical training of students, since this is the key to the implementation of all elements of learning technology and ultimately ensures the strength of knowledge and the formation of developed skills and abilities.
