Abstract
This article describes the history of the development of artificial intelligence, indicating the key stages and events. Since the Turing period and the Dartmouth Conference in the 1950s, artificial intelligence has gone through a series of ups and downs. In the 1970s and 80s, AI faced a decline, but resumed thanks to competition with Japan. The decade of the 1990s-2000s was marked by the victory of machines over man, starting with the victory of Deep Blue in chess. In the 2010s, the development of AI accelerated due to access to data, computing power and deep learning, leading to the introduction of AI in various fields.
