The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV- 2) is an RNA virus genetically located within the genus Betacoronavirus that uses a glycoprotein (spike protein) to bind to angiotensin–converting enzyme 2 (ACE 2) receptor. ii.
