Abstract
The article considers the application of test results of the method of local variations for optimal placement of emergency exits in corridor-type buildings with annular more complex curved corridors. The non-classical max(min) («maximin») problem is formulated for calculations. A numerical version of its solution using the method of local variations is proposed. Examples of unconditional optimization of the target function are given. The results of preliminary testing generally showed the possibility of applying the chosen approach in solving specific applied tasks.
