Abstract
The questions of the psychological characteristics of personality changes in various somatic diseases does not receive their full resolution of any theoretical or methodological terms were examined in this article. It has been found that the development of a sick patient does not duplicate the development of a healthy person. Qualitative analysis of the possibility of a retrospective analysis of the human way of life before the disease on the one hand and the ability to follow the current life of the sick person on the other, reveals some conditions for the formation and development of specific forms of human life and discover the laws of its motivational sphere and its needs.
