Abstract

It has been important in the study to develop effective methods for training and social adaptation of families raising children with disabilities in order to protect their civil rights and dignity, to promote the development of centers to support such citizens and their families through social programs, to involve the work of communities for the integrated life of such people. In addition to working with parents raising children with disabilities, the psychological and pedagogical team has the task of teaching others to be more loyal and equal to the needs of such people, and society must learn to perceive them as equal, adjusted for their special needs. Before starting the empirical study, we decided to justify the choice of methods that, based on the calculated indicators, determine certain parameters of the group of subjects, their interconnection, the consequences of interaction in groups of parents and individually, the impact on the parents' condition of the work done with a psychologist and self-esteem. In addition, the proposed research indicators define the criteria for evaluating the research conducted, their impact on parents' self-esteem, determining their status in the family, and attitudes toward children and society. First of all, the psychologist provided publicly available documentary evidence of the family's status, composition, completeness, material and social status. In other words, the stage of informational cognition of families with disabled children has been carried out. It has been necessary to determine the diagnosis of children's diseases to direct work with parents on an individual basis.
