Abstract
A new technical solution of an air-heating heat recovery exchanger for household waste incineration plants is proposed. The results of studies of its main thermal characteristics in different operating modes during the year and in the practical range of changes in the input parameters of flue gases are presented. It is shown that the use of a heat recovery exchanger provides air heating up to 100–210 °C, depending on its initial temperature and the excess coefficient in flue gases, as well as the level of dustiness of the heat exchange surface.
