The Great Patriotic War as a resource of civil and patriotic education

The article is devoted to the issues of preserving the historical memory of the events and heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Today there is a huge variety of theoretical approaches to the analysis of historical memory. Getting a certain level of knowledge by the younger generation, understanding and respect for their own history, according to experts, should become the basis of Russian statehood and the construction of Russian civil society.
