Characteristics of the Romano-German legal family: History and modernity

This paper examines the essence and content of the Romano-Germanic legal family. Interest in this system is determined by the fact that Russian law refers to this legal system, which is based on written law and laws. Based on the fact that Russian legislation in many branches of law needs to be reformed, the study of the peculiarities of legal systems of other countries becomes important for the analysis of Russian legislation and the use of effective practices.
