Abstract
Introduction. The development of physical activity of the population (especially children and adolescents) is an integral part of the international strategy «Health for all in the 21st century». Purpose. Therefore, the purpose of our article was to establish patterns of children's motivation for motor activity employing extracurricular education centers. Every child needs to choose the right physical activity. Not every child is a natural athlete or even particularly interested in sports. Children should be able to learn exercises that interest them. Therefore, the extracurricular education system has many advantages, because not all extracurricular activities are physical, but also aimed at developing the child's creative potential. Methods. We used the following research methods, namely: the level of physical condition was assessed using the G.L. Apanasenko diagnostic express system. Based on the results of the Kettle index, Robinson index, strength and vital indices, and Rufier test, after calculating the sum of the points, we determined the level of physical health of the studied children according to the corresponding table; cognitive spheres - memory, attention and thinking with the help of the following methods (Raven's progressive matrix test, Correction test (B. Burdon) using the method of L. Vygotsky). Results. Our study examines the peculiarities of the formation of students' motivation for motor activity with the help of extracurricular education institutions and their impact on the child's cognitive abilities. It has been established that encouraging a child to be physically active at the age of 7-12 is especially necessary, as it increases the child's cognitive functions. We will also emphasize that motor activity has a positive effect on all systems: motor, cardiovascular, respiratory, hormonal, immune, and nervous. Conclusion. We also emphasize that general well-being is improved not only by active sports but also by clubs that are part of the activities of extracurricular education institutions. Our studies of karting and beadwork confirm this. It is an indisputable fact that the system of extracurricular education both in Ukraine and abroad, and we emphasize/insist on this, is part of the educational process when a child develops new knowledge, abilities, and skills through sports achievements, creativity, creativity, etc. That is, not only does the school affect the creative potential of students, and the development of certain abilities and skills, but also the extracurricular system makes its corrections in this process. Therefore, it is necessary to motivate children to engage in physical activity, and extracurricular education helps in this.
