Evaluation of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench) hybrids in Allahabad agro-climatic conditions

Abstract
The present investigation to evaluate the performance of okra hybrid was carried out during 2011-2012 at Vegetable Research Farm,. The experiment was laid out in Simple Randomized Block Design with 18 genotypes and three replication. The observation was taken at 30, 60, and 90 days after showing. It was observed that 11/OKHYB-10 recorded maximum fruit length (11.46), maximum fruit weight (12.66 g), number of fruit (25.93) and fruit yield (182.507 q/ha), the highest B:C ratio (2.91) was obtained in 11/OKHYB-10.
