Abstract

This article examines the peculiarities of professional reliability of convoying officers of the Federal Service for the Execution of Punishments of Russia (FSIN of Russia). The authors of the article analyse the role and importance of the reliability of convoying officers, considering the main causes of occurrence and consequences of reliability violations. They draw attention to the fact that the convoying department has a special responsibility in transporting and ensuring the safety of prisoners and suspects during their movement. The article also describes the main qualities and requirements for the professional reliability of convoy officers. The authors emphasise the need for a high degree of discipline, responsibility, psychological stability and the ability to make decisions in stressful situations. An important factor is also the skill of communication and co-operation with other participants in the process.In addition, the article discusses measures to ensure the professional reliability of escort officers. The authors emphasise the need for regular inspections and certification of staff, staff training in security and escorting rules. Social support and motivation of staff to maintain their professional reliability are also discussed. The final part of the article presents the authors' conclusions about the importance of professional reliability of the officers of the convoying department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and the need for continuous improvement of their professional skills and knowledge. The authors call for further study of this topic and development of modern methods of training and support of convoying officers in ensuring high reliability and safety in the performance of their tasks.
