Blended learning: a methodology for training future telecoms professionals

Abstract

The paper considers the methodology of training future telecommunications specialists in blended learning. The essence of the problem of training future telecommunications specialists in the digital society and in crisis conditions is revealed, the effectiveness of the proposed author's methodological principles is substantiated. It is shown that the process of forming and improving the level of professional competencies of future telecommunications specialists, in particular, performing calculations of information and communication networks, telecommunications equipment and devices, working to ensure the requirements for quality and reliability of facilities, means and equipment of telecommunications and radio engineering, etc. is most effective if virtual laboratory and practical work is included in the teaching methods in the VET. The authors outline the sequence of stages of implementation of methodological approaches to the professional training of future telecommunications specialists in blended learning. The advantages of using virtual laboratory and practical work in the educational process of VET in accordance with the author's methodology are clarified and prospects for further research in this area are outlined. The authors of the article argue that blended learning is an effective method of training future telecommunications specialists, as it allows combining traditional teaching methods with the use of innovative technologies. Blended learning allows students to independently master theoretical knowledge and practical skills at a time and place convenient for them. As a result of the study, it can be argued that the methodology of blended learning proposed by the authors is an effective tool for training future telecommunications specialists, as it allows to provide a high level of theoretical training and practical skills
