Abstract
The theoretical-methodological foundations of ecological expansion study are analyzed as a process of deepening the environmental impact on the system of economic relations. The expediency of the use of genetically-structural method to determine the ecological expansion is justified as a global process that includes a mandatory transition to a new model of social development. The content and criterion signs of the economical mechanism of ecological expansion are considered.
