Abstract
The article deals with the problem of defining the meaning of terms “cooperative learning” and “collaborative learning” by means of content analysis of definitions of the terms in authentic articles and books. The analysis is conducted within the framework of PhD research on future language teachers’ training in the usage of cooperative learning.
