The competent implementation of the interaction of specialists of the preschool department and the adequate organization of the educational environment stimulated the development of self-confidence, an optimistic attitude towards life in children, formed cognitive interests, encouraged willingness to cooperate and support another in a difficult situation, that is, ensured the successful socialization of the child and the formation of his personality, which were the main tasks of the work. The article shows the methods of collective work to implement the important principle of integration of educational fields in accordance with the age capabilities and characteristics of pupils. Integration was based on the closest approach for preschoolers – the game. To implement the tasks of integrated integration, the specialists chose the method of sand therapy. The rationale for choosing this method was the effective developing potential of using sand: This is a wonderful sensory material that stimulates the development of fine motor skills of the hand, and an unsurpassed object-game environment, and an amazing material for visual and creative activities, an excellent tool for developing cognitive processes and supporting a positive mood, overcoming negative emotional states. Thus, sand therapy had a beneficial effect on the emotional state of children, helped to relax, concentrate attention, and contributed to the development of basic communication skills. Sand, when used in the context of various exercises, has created the best conditions for self-expression of children with functional visual disorders.
