Abstract
The human metabolome, the complete set of small molecules within a cell, tissue, or organism, plays a critical role in health and disease. Understanding the complex interactions within the metabolome holds immense potential for advancements in biomedicine. This study explores into recent research efforts focused on unraveling these interactions and their impact on human health. The realm of metabolic regulations encompasses the diverse and extensive network of metabolic pathways within the human body. These pathways collectively drive various physiological and biological processes towards proper functionality. Amidst the challenges posed by diseases, the creation of new metabolic pathways exemplifies the promise of metabolic engineering in therapeutic interventions. Exploring metabolic functions in the human body can be facilitated by simulated yeast models, offering insight into the intricate interactions among molecular metabolomes.
