Abstract
It is not uncommon that we encounter patients with different kinds of foreign bodies in the rectumfor a variety of reasons. Most of the cases reported in the literature reveal that rectal foreign body insertion is mainly for sexual gratification. To avoid the embarrassment and scrutiny, patients often delay seeking medical help which complicatesmedical management. We discuss a case of a 21-year-old male who presented after voluntary insertion of multiple eggs into the anus. Although the suggested protocol and technique was followed to retrieve the egg and the debris, it still required some creativity and careful methodology.
